When you create an account or sign in, we may receive your email address, display name, account identifier, and basic profile information from Google or X when you choose those services.

Pare stores language and theme preferences, saved guides, feedback, guide entitlements, and payment-verification details such as transaction identifiers and status. We do not store full payment-card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate visitors, maintain accounts, synchronize saves, unlock purchases, prevent fraud, respond to requests, improve content, and protect the service.

3. Service providers

Pare uses Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments, and hosting infrastructure to operate the website. Google or X processes information under its own policy when you choose that sign-in method. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and preferences

We use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in sessions, language, theme, security, and other essential website functions.

5. Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable technical safeguards and access controls, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit your display name, remove saved guides, and sign out. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable by using the feedback form in your Pare account.

7. Children and changes

Pare is not intended for children to create accounts or make purchases without a parent or guardian where required by law. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective date.
